While no other Mountain Mike’s Pizza restaurant will be physically located within the restaurant’s exclusive area, the exclusive area may overlap with another franchisee’s exclusive area (in other words, area in one franchisee’s exclusive area also may be in another franchisee’s exclusive area). The exclusive area’s size typically will be a 1.5 mile radius from the restaurant. The franchisor will not establish or allow a franchisee to establish another Mountain Mike’s Pizza restaurant with its physical location within the exclusive area. Once the location is located and accepts by the franchisor, the franchisor will identify the exclusive area. Territory Granted: Franchisees will operate the restaurant at a specific location the franchisor first must accept. Franchisees (or their managing owner) and/or previously trained and experienced managers must attend any periodic refresher training courses the franchisor provides and pay the applicable fees. All restaurant management personnel will receive up to 10 days (at the franchisor’s discretion) of additional training at the restaurant. Franchisees will receive up to 15 days of training, all of which currently occur at an operating Mountain Mike’s Pizza restaurant in California or at a location that the franchisor designates. Training Overview: The franchisor (and/or a development agent) will provide initial training on operating a restaurant to franchisees (or their managing owner) and one managerial employee. Mountain Mike’s restaurants sell pizza, sandwiches, salads, and other food products and services. But there's a Baskin Robbins right next door, conveniently located for your ice cream eating pleasure so there's really nothing lacking here.Franchise Description: The franchisor is Mountain Mike’s Pizza, LLC. It just looks like any other typical pizza parlor now. Overall I love Mountain Mike's and will always choose to go here for pizza! I am a little bummed that they remodeled a few years back, because those big wooden booths they used to have were original and signature Oakdale Mountain Mike's appearances, but if you don't care then you're set to go. If you have any special requests they'll fulfill those as well! My friends and I once ordered delivery pizza online and requested that they write a joke on the box they did! Takeout is also very convenient, you can order it online or by phone and they're mostly accurate in their estimates for when it will be ready. If you choose to do delivery, they're pretty well timed and they have the order online option which is very convenient and easy to use. I've noticed that if you choose to eat there on nights when large families go out, you'll have to be prepared for lots of little kids running around and losing bouncy balls under your tables though. The setting is a little noisy on weekends, especially at dinner time, but that's a typical pizza parlor atmosphere. The staff has always been friendly and open and always helpful if you don't understand something or don't know what you want just yet. I'm sure if you're the opposite of me and want more, you can ask when you order and they'll put more. They never put too much of anything on the pizzas, which I like since I'm used to pizzas that run a little lighter on toppings (although the pizzas themselves do have plenty of toppings altogether! It's just not an overload of any one topping). I really like the salad bar here as it has plenty of options for me. All of these are, and always have been good. We've also tried their McKinley (combination), Pike's Peak (all meat combo), Robber's Roost (garlic chicken), garlic sticks with cheese, and the salad bar. ![]() When we get takeout just for the family we usually order either a cheese/black olive, Hawaiian, or plain cheese pizza. ![]() It isn't the cheapest, but quality comes with a price. We always get pizza from Mountain Mike's as it's the best pizza place in town.
